The museum corpus consists of nine collections. Within this corpus, more than 1200 items was officially registered. Among these collections original technical objects in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering are preserved, as well as personal items and Nikola Tesla’s clothing, his medals and decorations and the artifacts of fine and applied art from his legacy.
The collection of mechanical engineering items, catalog no. T:23, includes 122 individual exhibits from the following fields: turbine mechanics, speed measurement, distance measurement, temperature measurement, measuring tools, instruments for technical drawing and writing, mechanical assemblies and elements etc.
The collection of items from the field of electrical engineering, catalog no. T:25, comprises 76 different exhibits which are grouped into the following areas: electrical measuring instruments, electrical insulation, transmission of electrical energy, medical instruments, electrical devices and components of these.
The collection of Nikola Tesla’s art objects, which is not broad in scope, is made up of artistic items which were mostly gifts from admirers, design drawings and a few cartoons.
